Women Activists Storm Yuasa Car Bond

Women activists have stormed Yuasa Car Bond in Nakawa protesting against their former employees who raped a 23 year old lady.

 

The women activists headed by the Uganda Association for Women Lawyers (FIDA) gathered in Nakawa are demanding that YUASA must produces the other three suspects who are on the run because they must be knowing their way about.

Clad in black t-shirts on Monday at the YUASA offices the women were carrying placards with words like Justice and others that read suspects must be taken to court.

 

Police has so far two suspects Ahmeed Shahbz and Wagaf Muhammed have been arrested and where charged and remanded to Luzira until November 1 for mention of their case.However the other three suspects are still on the run.

 

The Pakistani “Investors” are wanted for raping and sodomising for almost  two months 23 year old Zainab Mbabazi to a situation where she started got severe abdominal pain and started discharging  faeces and blood.
