Denis Okot, who is less than one year old at KCCA FC as a player was unveiled as club’s captain to KCCA executive director Jennifer Musisi. Okot joined KCCA FC in June 2015 from SC Victoria University.
The unveiling was at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala on Monday January 4, 2016 and the KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi said they trust him as a technical team. Okot will be deputized by Joseph Ochaya.
Previously, Saka Mpiima has been the team captain being deputized by Tom Masiko.
Mpiima has struggled with playing time though he is one of the longest serving players ever since he joined them like six year back from Kinyara. Tom Masiko has been struggling with injuries and he recently underwent a knee operation.
So the technical bench observed it wise to have replacement of the two players and the qualities of good leadership at the club were released in Denis Okot and Joseph Ochaya.
