Shock As Son To Kawempe MP Latif Ssebaggala Dies

The family of the MP Kawempe North Constituency, Latif Ssebaggala who is also a brother to former Kampala Lord Mayor Alhajj Naser Ntege Ssebaggala woke up Monday morning to shocking news that their son has died.

Umar Ssegendo is a son to MP Kawempe North Constituency, Latif Ssebagala.

The Opposition leader has posted on his Facebook wall about the sad news of his son, Umar Sengendo.

 

“I am deeply saddened by the news of the loss of my son. I offer my deepest condolences to the whole family and pray to Allah to give me strength to cope up with the loss and to able to pass through this difficult time,” he said.

 

Meanwhile, on Umar Sengendo’s facebook page, his friends are also in shock about the sad news.

“I am still in shock right now,out of words…(mum just told me) your gone too soon my brother UMARU. This is bad news to start the week. Its hard for me to take it in. Just asking myself what killed you so fast ad what happened? Still cannot believe mukwano. May your soul RIP My brother,” says Pauline Mayanja.

 

Umar is reported to have fainted early this morning as he played tennis with his friends and he died on spot.

 

However, a close source to the deceased family has revealed that Umar passed away from Boston where his family owns some apartments.

 

He is reported to have organized a farewell party at Club Silk two weeks ago.
