MTN Uganda says it will continue focusing on its robust distribution network to ensure its products and services are available to every customer.
Speaking at the annual MTN Dealers’ Conference, Mr Mazen Mroué, MTN’s CEO said it is important to enhance the bond between the company and all its dealers and customers.
“The dealers are at the foundation of this network and as such is important that we maintain a two way working relationship with them through consistent engagement on both operational challenges and key business successes,” said Mroué.
The conference took place from 27th -28th March, 2014 at the Chobe Safaris Lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. MTN leaders met and interacted with MTN dealers from across the country.

The MTN General Manager Sales and Distribution, Phrase Lubega thanked the dealers for their continued commitment in supporting the business strategy of MTN and for also being great brand ambassadors in their different areas of business.
They also discussed on how the company dealers are the ears and eyes of the MTN brand and often the first point of contact for the over 8.8 million loyal customers.
Today there are more than 560,000 Ugandans directly or indirectly employed, many of whom are employed through MTN’s distribution network.
The conference strengthened and gave a renewed energy for the company to take on the challenges for them to achieve greater heights in 2014 and beyond.
Present at the conference was Patrick Bitature representing Simba telecom, who appreciated the support and effort of the MTN management and increasing transparency all the way from the very top – down.
He called upon the dealers to work together to build a stronger MTN family and ring fence the loyal customer base by exceeding their expectations rather than just delivering a service.
